Bar Sala

Bar Sala was built for bringing people together. A neighbourhood bistro and music room in the heart of Abbotsford, it offers a warm, character-filled setting for celebrations, long lunches, corporate gatherings and late-night parties. Events can take over the entire venue or settle into one of its dedicated spaces, with room for up to 45 guests seated or 90 standing.

The food is Mediterranean in spirit: wood-fired, ingredient-led and designed to be shared. Events can begin with oysters and canapés, move into generous plates served across the table, or unfold over a four-course chef’s menu. Menus can be complemented by grazing stations, supper snacks and thoughtful beverage selections, creating an experience that feels generous, relaxed and distinctly Bar Sala.

The venue offers three ways to gather. The private dining room seats up to 12 guests in an intimate setting overlooking Nicholson Street. The music room accommodates up to 40 seated or 60 standing, combining warm interiors with the energy of Bar Sala’s listening-room atmosphere. For larger occasions, the full venue brings the dining room, lounge and music together under one roof, with space for arrival drinks, entertainment and dancing. 

However you choose to celebrate, the food, drinks and music are considered as one experience—giving guests every reason to settle in and stay awhile.
