Museum of Design (MODA)

Are you looking for a cultural meetings and events venue that helps share your story? MODA is ready to host and will make your day - or evening - a successful and enjoyable one. It's easy, it's fun and it's certainly all about design.

We're the only museum in the southeastern United States that's entirely dedicated to design, so it may not come as a surprise that our space is beautifully designed! Our lobby opens up to three galleries that house exhibitions that demonstrate the power of design to inspire change, transform lives, and make the world a better place. 

Our space is a great place for an upscale cocktail party — and it comes with the added benefit that your guests can enjoy the exhibition we have on view. (Depending on the exhibition we have on view, drinks may or may not be allowed in the exhibition space, but it's always fine to sip and nibble in our lobby.) We can easily accommodate up to 125 for cocktails. 

Our lobby and galleries are also available for meetings at times that we're closed to the public (mornings, evenings, all day Monday and Tuesday). Imagine assembling your team in a museum gallery, amidst inspiring objects, and getting creative. We can comfortably seat 60 lecture-style and 30-40 at tables. Team building activities such as Lego challenges, skateboard design, private tours, and design sprints can be added on to all meetings.

MODA is located at the corner of Peachtree Street and 16th Street, right in the heart of the Midtown Arts Corridor, and one block from the Arts Center MARTA station.
