Heineken 2nd Star Tavern

The Fire Pitch is a sports lover’s paradise, located on the north side of Chicago and open year-round. Owned and operated by Chicago Fire FC, the Fire Pitch features two full size outdoor turf fields with a seasonal dome in the winter. The Fire Pitch is also home to 2nd Star Tavern, a full-service restaurant and bar with twelve big-screen TVs and full in-house A/V system. 2nd Star Tavern is comprised of a main restaurant space, private events room and outdoor patio, and these spaces can be reserved individually for groups as small as 10 guests or combined to accommodate up to 450 guests during the summer months. 

2nd Star Tavern offers fully customizable catering options for guests of all ages and is open to the public daily. Depending on availability, field time and an appearance from Chicago Fire FC mascot Sparky can be added to any event for a unique guest experience. The Fire Pitch has hosted everything from birthday parties and graduations to holiday celebrations, bar/bat mitzvahs and more, and we'd love to partner with you for your next event!
