Mexican cuisine consists of many different regional styles depending on the climate of the area. Northern Mexico’s desert climate supports a large livestock population which led to the region’s meat-based dishes. The ranching culture’s historical use of wood fire and outdoor cooking is what developed the distinct smoky flavors that are still loved today. This delicious tradition and generations old family recipes from our founder Sam Sanchez are the foundation of Moe’s Cantina’s extensive list of locally-inspired tacos, steak and mesquite-grilled skewers!Mr. Sanchez also looked to his heritage when designing our interior. The exposed bricks walls, custom-made wrought iron chandeliers, and open kitchens with wood-burning grills make for a warm, inviting atmosphere that is perfect for a meal with family and friends.
