Spaces in the City is a catering service and event venue company located in Knoxville, Tennessee that helps guests find the perfect building and event space for their event. Event planning is something that takes vision, organization, and big-picture orchestration, all within a tight logistical framework, so the event staff at this venue is committed to providing a more simplified way of planning and implementing your event.Everything we offer at Spaces in the City is small batched, fresh, and locally-sourced … but these are all just the basics. We add creative culinary talent and inspiration from around the world, always garnished with a Knoxville twist: that special blend of local pride and expansive hospitality. Trust us with your wedding, reunion, corporate board meeting or gathering.Facilities and CapacitySpaces in the City has several different indoor and outdoor locations that will work great for any occasion. The newly renovated historic site, The Press Room, provides 10,000 square feet of indoor event space and an attached outdoor patio that provides 400 square feet of space. The Press Room features a bridal suite and lounge area for guests to enjoy. The Square Room is a more intimate event space, with 2,800 square feet, that can accommodate up to 120 people for a seated dinner and up to 250 for a reception. The Mezz is the smallest event space and is great for intimate parties of up to 30 guests. This semi-private space also includes a full-service bar for guests to enjoy. CuisineCity Catering is the exclusive caterer for our spaces. We also cater off-site. Catering services include buffet style, family style, and sit-down plated dinner options. Choose from a limited, cash, or hosted bar.
