Lucky Mizu
Lucky Mizu is best suited for seated buyouts up to 50 guests.
An ethereal restaurant serving a global mix of traditional hot pot cuisine and seiro mushi steamed entrees, the restaurant is helmed by chef Hisae Stuck, a native of Kobe, Japan, who worked for many years alongside legendary French chef Joël Robuchon. Lucky Mizu is centered around a U-shaped dining bar, its top clad in a stunning Blue Fusion marble whose blue and purple veining ripples across the surface and is reflected in the mirrored, birch-framed ceiling above. Guests seated at the bar have their own induction burner for making seiro mushi, steaming the world’s finest meat, wild-caught seafood, and fresh organic produce in bamboo boxes, or cooking them hot pot–style in fragrant broths.
Directly upon entering the restaurant, diners are greeted by a wall lined with 700 traditional “lucky cat” figurines in gold, green, and red, with individually painted cats, customized by a range of local artists, dotted amongst them. One wall is lined with booths under arched trellises strung with cherry blossoms; at each booth, a circular infinity mirror depicts thousands of butterflies. Above the bar, on a platform, musicians perform on a 40-foot Earth Harp that stretches diagonally from one corner of the room to the other — the creation of visionary musician and artist William Close — and on drums, giving the impression of dining in a music box.
