Carnegie Library Special Events is Mishawaka’s newest event space, featuring historic character and charm with modern amenities. Carnegie Library is the latest edition to George Pesek’s restaurant group, Market Fresh Gourmet, with sister restaurants Evil Czech Brewery, Corndance Tavern, Bourbon and the Butcher, and the new Jesús Latin Bar & Grill all offering exceptional food directly from their menus, but available to your event guests. Our skilled team will pair restaurant-quality food with event experience and knowledge, making Carnegie Library Special Events the premier venue to host your next celebration. Our venue is located in historic downtown Mishawaka inside the “old” Carnegie Library, made vibrant and new through years of restoration and passion. The character and history of this building make it an unmatched event venue within our community. In it’s nearly 100 year history, Carnegie Library has served as the public library, a school, and even a private residence. We’re now excited to call it home to Jesús Latin Bar & Grill (on the lower level) and Carnegie Library Special Events.We have several spaces to fit your event needs, accommodating groups large and small. In house amenities include surround sound audio systems, flatscreen televisions throughout the space, a built in bar with Evil Czech craft beer on draft, plus chiavari chairs, tables, linens, and service wares.
