Peg Leg Porker

Peg Leg Porker is an Award Winning TN BBQ restaurant in the Gulch in Downtown Nashville. It was opened by Carey Bringle and his family Memorial Day weekend in 2013. Since then it has become a top BBQ destination for tourists and foodies from all over the world. The name Peg Leg Porker derives from the fact that the Owner Carey Bringle has only one leg due to losing his leg to bone cancer when he was 17. Peg Leg Porker only opened a few years ago but BBQ has been in the Bringle blood for generations. The restaurant itself is nothing fancy, a concrete building with a fast casual concept downstairs and the best bbq smells in the city. But with popularity increasing and a demand for more space, an addition of a 2nd and 3rd floor has been added. The 2nd floor will be for private events, and when there is no events it will be a reservation only room for parties of 6 or more, and cant forget a roof top bar with great views of the city. The 3rd floor is for pop up restaurants and chef demos, and tasting room. We look forward to adding more people to our Peg Leg Porker Family!
