Located in NoLiTa, Peasant is an Italian restaurant by Chef Marc Forgione specializing in handmade pastas, wood-fired dishes, and Italian wines served in a warm and refined setting.   The restaurant focuses on the ancient method of cooking with live fire and smoke. Chef Forgione has also always been passionate about working with local farms and purveyors to get seasonal & wild vegetables, animals and sustainable seafood. All of our pastas are made daily in-house and based on Italian classics but with innovative twists. Our Wine Bar features an expansive Italian wine list highlighting all the regions of Italy.
