The Maxwell House
The Maxwell House is an Historic Landmark Event Space located in the heart of Downtown Old-Town Pasadena. Full of unique, historic charm, it is a venue built for making memories.Built in 1929 by renowned architects Marston & Mabry, The Maxwell House was originally built as a vacation residence by George Maxwell. Built in the iconic "Italianette" style that is synonymous with Pasadena, the property features a soaring entry way with fresco ceilings, a lush garden patio, and impressive limestone arched portico. The Maxwell House is operated by the Western Justice Center, a non-profit serving youth and educators in Southern California since 1987.By booking the Maxwell House, you are assisting valuable programs build a healthy democracy by equipping the next generation with tools to confront, embrace the complexities of, and resolve conflicts. WJC's work inspires young people to become conflict-adept leaders who can shift the culture and climate in their schools and communities.
