Liberty Bar

Liberty Bar is a family owned, window-filled eatery & bar located in the renovated Benedictine convent in the historic King William District of San Antonio, Texas. The restaurant serves authentic regional cuisine, making everything from our bread down to our sauces in-house, from scratch. The rooms carry the imaginative character of its owners filled with eclectic art and wallpaper designed by local and internationally acclaimed artists and other distinct Texas artifacts. Founded in 1985 by Dwight Hobart and Drew Allen as their bohemian fantasy, the restaurant has a long history of hosting legendary parties and receptions for many San Antonio luminaries. Today, Liberty Bar hosts unique, intimate dinners and cocktail parties to full buyout celebrations.
