Metropolist

Welcome to Metropolist, a unique venue housed in the historic Ederer Building on 1st Avenue South. Originally built in 1919, the Ederer Crane building was used to manufacture large-scale cranes for construction projects around the area. One of these cranes still remains in our space, adding an industrial and urban vibe to events and parties. Our space offers a variety of options to make your event truly one-of-a-kind. Whether you prefer an open floor plan or a multidimensional space, the customizable options at Metropolist make it the perfect location for a Seattle wedding, celebration, or company event. 

Our 14-foot walls, vaulted 25-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed piping, and warm wood floors create a dramatic urban industrial atmosphere. At Metropolist, the possibilities are endless. Our space is yours to discover, morph, and entertain in. Whether you want an elegantly urban setting or a gritty and ever-changing space, Metropolist is the ideal venue for throwing an unforgettable party, wedding, meeting, or fundraiser.

Venue Rental

• Venue Buyout | 10 Hours | $175 per additional hour
• Facilities | Venue Set-up, Strike, & Janitorial Services
• Utilities | Garbage, Recycling, & Compost — Sorted per City of Seattle guidelines

Event Support

• Day of Support | Client Concierge available during the duration of your event.
• Unlimited E-mail communication | Specific to Venue Needs
• 1 Site Visit | Additional Site visits $50 per half-hour
• Preliminary Floor Plan Creation | To ensure the venue is pre-set for the event
• 1 Hour Ceremony Rehearsal | Date’s & Times subject to event schedule
• Outside Rental Coordination | When renting from Peterson’s Rentals

• 4 Black 24in Round Cocktail Tables

AV – No AV tech provided

• Projector & Screen (non-mobile, fixed on south wall)
  • HDMI cord – adapters not provided
• 2 speaker sound system in main Factory Room
  • ONE wireless microphone
• Main house lights and string lights are on dimmers
• 12 up lights available for use

Alcohol

Metropolist requires the use of our in-house Bartending services unless the host is a 501-c3 non-profit organization. All bartenders must be Washington state MAST certified. In-house catered alcohol packages availabe, & self catered alcohol is allowed but corkage fees will apply. 

In-House Planning, Coordination & Design

• We have partnered with Sei Anders Events to provide an in-house coordination, design, and planning day. Packages start at $2500
